Day 1: Arrival To Tangier

Welcome to Morocco! I will guide you on a short city tour of Tangier. After the tour, we will drop you off at your hotel in the Medina.

 

Day 2: Tangier – Chefchaouen

Today, we will continue our journey towards Chefchaouen. Along the way, we’ll cross the stunning Rif Mountains, taking in the breathtaking views that this mountain range offers. Once in Chefchaouen, we’ll embark on a tour of the city, renowned for its charming blue and white lime-washed houses. After the tour, we’ll take you to your cozy local riad or hotel.

 

Day 3: Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Meknes – Fez

After breakfast, we will depart for Fez, driving towards Moulay Idriss, a significant religious site in Morocco. From there, we’ll continue to Volubilis, an archaeological site renowned for having the best-preserved Roman ruins in this part of North Africa (designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1997). Next, we’ll head to Meknes, where we’ll visit the famous gates of Bab el-Mansour and Bab el Khamis. In the late afternoon, we will arrive in Fez.

 

Day 4: Fez guided tour

This day is dedicated entirely to Fez, one of the oldest imperial cities in Morocco. Having served as the capital for over 400 years, Fez remains a vital religious and cultural center in the country. We will explore the extraordinary medina of El Bali, which offers countless opportunities for discovery. Other highlights include the Merenid Tombs, the Royal Palace, and the Medersa Bou-Inania or Attarine. We’ll also visit the Nejarine Fountain, renowned for its splendid mosaic work, and the Mellah (Jewish Quarter). You’ll spend the night at a charming local riad.

 

Day 5: Fez – Midelt – Erfoud – Merzouga

Today, we will continue our tour towards Merzouga. Along the way, we’ll enjoy the stunning views of the Mid-Atlas Mountains as we pass through cedar forests and picturesque towns like Ifrane and Azrou. We’ll stop for lunch in Midelt before crossing the High Atlas Mountains and driving through the breathtaking gorges of the Ziz, formed by the powerful Ziz River. Continuing via Erfoud, we’ll arrive at the famous dunes of Merzouga (Erg Chebbi), where we will enjoy dinner and spend the night in nomad tents.

 

Day 6: Merzouga – Todra – Dades Valley

Today, we will watch the sunrise over the dunes of Merzouga before continuing our journey towards Boumalen Dadès. On our way to Tinghir, we will pass through Jorf and Tinjdad. We’ll explore the stunning gorges of the Todra, taking in the breathtaking scenery. After enjoying lunch in this beautiful area, we will depart for Boumalen Dadès, where we’ll spend the night.

 

Day 7: Dades Valley – Ouarzazate

In the early morning, we’ll depart for the Valley of the Roses. After exploring this charming town, we’ll continue our journey to Ouarzazate. On the way, we’ll pass through the Skoura oasis and visit the famous Taourirt Kasbah, one of the most stunning sites in southern Morocco. There will also be an opportunity to tour the movie studios of Ouarzazate, often referred to as “Moroccan Hollywood.” You’ll spend the night at a local riad or hotel.

 

Day 9: Ouarzazate – Marrakech

Today, we’ll continue our journey to Marrakech, one of Morocco’s four imperial cities. On the way, we’ll stop to visit the ancient Aït Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage site. We will then proceed towards Marrakech, passing through the highest road pass in North Africa. Once in Marrakech, you’ll have the afternoon to explore at your leisure. You’ll spend the night at a local riad in the heart of the Medina.

 

Day 10: Marrakech guided tour

Today, we’ll explore the city and visit the highlights of Marrakech, including the Koutoubia Mosque, the Saadian Tombs, and El Bahia Palace. In the afternoon, we’ll head to the famous Djemaa el Fna square and its bustling souks. After a full day of discovering the wonders of Marrakech, you’ll have the evening to relax and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere.

 

Day 11: Agadir – Essaouira

Today, we will continue our tour towards Essaouira, also known as Mogador. This charming coastal city is perfect for fishing, windsurfing, and kite surfing. The harbor offers a delightful scene, filled with colorful boats meticulously decorated by local fishermen. We will spend the night here, allowing you to soak in the vibrant atmosphere of Essaouira.

 

Day 12: Essaouira – Casablanca

Today, we will continue our journey to Casablanca, the economic capital of Morocco. We’ll take the scenic coastal road, stopping along the way in Safi and El Jadida. Once we arrive in Casablanca, you’ll have free time to explore the city at your leisure. You’ll spend the night at a local hotel.

 

Day 13: Casablanca – Rabat

Today, we’ll explore the highlights of Casablanca, including Place Mohamed V, Parc de la Ligue Arabe, and the stunning Hassan II Mosque. In the afternoon, we’ll continue our journey to Rabat, one of Morocco’s four imperial cities. We will visit the Hassan Tower, a minaret begun by the Almohad sultan Yacoub al-Mansour in 1195, which was intended to reach 60 meters, making it the largest and highest in the Muslim world. Next, we’ll tour the marble Mausoleum of Mohammed V. You’ll spend the night in Rabat at a local hotel.

 

Day 14: Rabat – Asilah

In the morning, we will depart for Asilah, one of the most beautiful old cities in Morocco. This peaceful beach village on the Atlantic coast offers an intimate and sophisticated introduction to the country, with galleries lining its narrow streets. The town features Mediterranean-influenced architecture, including charming whitewashed houses with blue accents. We’ll take time to explore this picturesque town, and you’ll spend the night in a cozy local riad.

 

Day 15: Assilah -Tangier

After breakfast, we will drive back to Tangier. Along the way, we’ll visit some interesting sites. We’ll then transfer you to the port or airport in time for your scheduled departure.

Day 1: Fez – Midelt – Erfoud – Merzouga

Our private tour begins with a drive towards the Atlas Mountains, with a stop in the charming village of Ifrane. Here, we’ll have the opportunity to explore the famous cedar forest, home to the playful Barbary apes.

Afterward, we’ll enjoy lunch before continuing our journey through the Atlas Mountains, taking in the breathtaking landscapes of Midelt along the way. We’ll then make our way to the Ziz Valley before arriving in Merzouga, where we’ll spend the night at a local Riad.

Day 2: Merzouga desert tour and camel trekking

Today, we’ll explore the enchanting desert region surrounding the Erg Chebbi dunes. You’ll have the chance to experience the nomadic lifestyle and marvel at the striking contrasts of the desert landscape.

We’ll visit the village of Khamlia, where you can enjoy the captivating rhythms of Gnawa music. For lunch, we’ll savor a traditional Berber pizza in the ancient capital of Rissani. In the late afternoon, we’ll embark on a camel ride to witness the stunning sunset over the dunes before settling in for the night at a desert camp.

Dinner will feature a delicious traditional Tagine, complemented by refreshing local mint tea. As we gather around the campfire, you can enjoy traditional Berber music while gazing at the stars and the rising moon in the breathtaking Sahara Desert.

Day 3: Merzouga – Dades Gorges

We’ll start early to catch the sunrise before heading to a hotel for breakfast, where you’ll have a chance to freshen up. Afterward, we’ll continue our journey to Ouarzazate, stopping along the way to visit traditional Berber villages and explore the stunning Todra and Dades Gorges. We’ll spend the night at a local hotel in the Dades Valley

Day 4: Dades Gorges – Ouarzazatte – Marrakech

After breakfast, we’ll continue our tour towards Ouarzazate along the scenic Route of a Thousand Kasbahs, making a stop at Kalaat Mgouna, the heart of the Valley of Roses, renowned for its annual Rose Festival.

Next, we’ll visit the UNESCO World Heritage site, the Ksar of Ait Ben Haddou, famous for its appearances in Hollywood films such as Lawrence of Arabia and Gladiator, as well as in the acclaimed HBO series Game of Thrones.

Located in the heart of the Great Atlas, the Ourika Valley is considered one of the most beautiful valleys of the kingdom, full of contrasts landscapes, waterfalls and green valleys.

Excursion The Ourika Valley

We will discover the most exotic area of the region: the Ourika Valley. Landscape of orchards and crops, crumbling fortresses and modest villages with great contrasts of colors. We will enter its picturesque Berber villages, curiously built in steps at the edge of the rocky torrent whose valley bears his name. We will visit a market and enter a Berber house, an occasion that will allow us to observe how an authentic Moroccan tea is made. Return to Marrakech.

Ouzoud Waterfalls

The Casadas de Ouzoud are a waterfall or waterfalls, considered the largest and most impressive in North Africa. They are born from the Ouzoud River and are located at the foot of the village of Tanaghmeilt in the Atlas Mountains, about 150 kilometers from Marrakech.

Day 1: Ouzoud Waterfalls

From Marrakech we left early in the direction of the waterfalls of Ouzoud, located 160 km from Marrakech. We will enjoy a day under the waterfalls, where we can find water slopes up to 100 meters high. At midmorning we will visit the water mills, traditional and ancestral, to enjoy a nice lunch afterwards, sitting on a terrace overlooking the waterfalls. The bravest can take advantage of the opportunity to bathe in the river. We will be back in Marrakech around 6:00 p.m.
