Welcome to Morocco! I will guide you on a short city tour of Tangier. After the tour, we will drop you off at your hotel in the Medina.

 

Day 2: Chefchaouen – Fes

Today, we will continue our journey towards Chefchaouen. Along the way, we’ll cross the stunning Rif Mountains, taking in the breathtaking views that this mountain range offers. Once in Chefchaouen, we’ll embark on a tour of the city, renowned for its charming blue and white lime-washed houses. After the tour, we’ll take you to your cozy local riad or hotel.

 

Day 3: Exploring Fes – guided tour of the city

After breakfast, we will depart for Fez, driving towards Moulay Idriss, a significant religious site in Morocco. From there, we’ll continue to Volubilis, an archaeological site renowned for having the best-preserved Roman ruins in this part of North Africa (designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1997). Next, we’ll head to Meknes, where we’ll visit the famous gates of Bab el-Mansour and Bab el Khamis. In the late afternoon, we will arrive in Fez.

 

Day 4: Fes – Merzouga desert

This day is dedicated entirely to Fez, one of the oldest imperial cities in Morocco. Having served as the capital for over 400 years, Fez remains a vital religious and cultural center in the country. We will explore the extraordinary medina of El Bali, which offers countless opportunities for discovery. Other highlights include the Merenid Tombs, the Royal Palace, and the Medersa Bou-Inania or Attarine. Day 7: Ait Benhaddou – Essaouira

On the way, we’ll pass through the Skoura oasis and visit the famous Taourirt Kasbah, one of the most stunning sites in southern Morocco. There will also be an opportunity to tour the movie studios of Ouarzazate, often referred to as “Moroccan Hollywood.” You’ll spend the night at a local riad or hotel.

Today, you’ll have the opportunity to explore the ancient city of Mogador, a name bestowed by the Portuguese. Day 11: Agadir – Essaouira

Today, we will continue our tour towards Essaouira, also known as Mogador. This charming coastal city is perfect for fishing, windsurfing, and kite surfing. Day 12: Essaouira – Casablanca

Day 13: Casablanca – Rabat

Today, we’ll explore the highlights of Casablanca, including Place Mohamed V, Parc de la Ligue Arabe, and the stunning Hassan II Mosque. In the afternoon, we’ll continue our journey to Rabat, one of Morocco’s four imperial cities. We will visit the Hassan Tower, a minaret begun by the Almohad sultan Yacoub al-Mansour in 1195, which was intended to reach 60 meters, making it the largest and highest in the Muslim world. Next, we’ll tour the marble Mausoleum of Mohammed V. You’ll spend the night in Rabat at a local hotel.

 

Day 14: Rabat – Asilah

In the morning, we will depart for Asilah, one of the most beautiful old cities in Morocco. This peaceful beach village on the Atlantic coast offers an intimate and sophisticated introduction to the country, with galleries lining its narrow streets. Day 15: Assilah -Tangier
