Day 2: Chefchaouen – Fes

Today, we will continue our journey towards Chefchaouen. Along the way, we’ll cross the stunning Rif Mountains, taking in the breathtaking views that this mountain range offers. Once in Chefchaouen, we’ll embark on a tour of the city, renowned for its charming blue and white lime-washed houses. After the tour, we’ll take you to your cozy local riad or hotel.

 

Day 3: Exploring Fes – guided tour of the city

After breakfast, we will depart for Fez, driving towards Moulay Idriss, a significant religious site in Morocco. From there, we’ll continue to Volubilis, an archaeological site renowned for having the best-preserved Roman ruins in this part of North Africa (designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1997). Next, we’ll head to Meknes, where we’ll visit the famous gates of Bab el-Mansour and Bab el Khamis. In the late afternoon, we will arrive in Fez.

 

Day 4: Fes – Merzouga desert

This day is dedicated entirely to Fez, one of the oldest imperial cities in Morocco. Having served as the capital for over 400 years, Fez remains a vital religious and cultural center in the country. We will explore the extraordinary medina of El Bali, which offers countless opportunities for discovery.
