Day 1: Fez – Midelt – Erfoud – Merzouga

Our journey begins with a scenic drive towards the Atlas Mountains, stopping at the charming village of Ifrane. Explore the serene cedar forest, home to the playful Barbary apes. As we ascend the Tiz Ntalghamt Mountain Pass, marvel at the breathtaking vistas. Descend into the Ziz Gorge, a picturesque canyon where we can pause for panoramic photos and a refreshing cup of mint tea.

Continue your exploration through the fertile Ziz Valley, passing through the bustling towns of Erfoud and Rissani, known for their vibrant markets and oasis-like atmosphere. As the day draws to a close, arrive at the majestic Erg Chebbi desert dunes. Immerse yourself in the tranquility of the desert as you spend the night in a cozy local riad.

Day 2: Merzouga desert tour

Today, we’ll venture into the heart of the Sahara Desert, exploring the captivating Erg Chebbi dunes. Witness the nomadic lifestyle firsthand, immersing yourself in the stark beauty of the desert landscape. Visit the unique black village of Khamlia, where you’ll be captivated by the rhythmic sounds of Gnawa music.

Savor the flavors of Morocco with a traditional Berber pizza in the historic city of Rissani, the ancient capital of the region. As the sun begins to set, embark on a thrilling camel ride over the towering dunes. Spend the night under the starlit sky, camping amidst the majestic sand dunes.

Day 3: Merzouga – Midelt – Fez
