Day 1: Tangier – Chefchaouen

We’ll begin our journey with a drive through the Rif Mountains, passing the city of Tetouan. To fully appreciate the breathtaking landscape, we’ll take a break at the base of the Rif Mountains in Chefchaouen. This charming town’s medina reflects a strong Spanish architectural influence from its time as part of “Spanish Morocco.” The vibrant square is filled with colorful artisanal shops, and you’ll find numerous rooftop restaurants and cafes, including those in the Riads, where you can relax for the evening with a refreshing breeze and stunning views.

Day 2: Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Meknes – Fes

After a delicious breakfast, our journey continues towards Volubilis, passing through Ouazan and various charming Rif villages. In Volubilis, we’ll explore the Roman ruins and delve into Morocco’s rich history. Next, we’ll head to Meknes, where we’ll stop for lunch and explore the historical medina walls, including the impressive Bab el Mansour and the Moulay Ismail shrine. Later in the afternoon, we’ll make our way to Fes, where we’ll spend the night.

Day 3: Exploring Fes

We’ll begin the day by exploring the oldest city in Morocco, winding through its alleys and narrow streets. Our sightseeing starts at the Royal Palace gate, followed by a visit to the Jewish Quarter, where the first Mellah in Morocco was established in the 16th century. We’ll ensure you see all the culturally and historically significant sites, including the renowned Al Qaraouine University, the oldest in the region. Additionally, we’ll visit the Tanneries, the Attarine Museum, and the mausoleum of Moulay Idriss. After lunch, you’ll explore various cooperatives and enjoy a stunning panoramic view of the entire Medina of Fes.

Day 4: Fes – Rabat – Casablanca

Fes is made up of three distinct parts: Fes el Bali, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is the oldest of the three, featuring over 9,000 narrow streets and alleys surrounded by a large fortified wall. Fes-Jdid, or “New Fez,” is home to the Jewish Quarter, while the Ville Nouvelle represents the newest sector of Fes, developed during the French occupation. Later in the day, we’ll drive to Rabat and then on to Casablanca.

Day 5: Casablanca – Assilah – Tangier

Today, we’ll continue our journey from Casablanca to Assilah, and then on to Tangier, where we will conclude our tour.
