Fes is made up of three distinct parts: Fes el Bali, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is the oldest of the three, featuring over 9,000 narrow streets and alleys surrounded by a large fortified wall. Fes-Jdid, or “New Fez,” is home to the Jewish Quarter, while the Ville Nouvelle represents the newest sector of Fes, developed during the French occupation. Later in the day, we’ll drive to Rabat and then on to Casablanca.
