We’ll start the day early to witness the stunning sunrise over the desert, followed by a camel ride back to our hotel. After enjoying breakfast, we’ll depart and drive past Rissani and Erfoud, making a stop in Midelt, located in the Atlas Mountains, for lunch. From there, we’ll continue our journey to Fes, where our private tour will conclude.

Day 1: Marrakesh – Tizi-n-Tichka Pass – Ouarzazate – Dades Gorge
Your private tour begins with breathtaking views of the Atlas Mountains as we traverse the scenic Tizi n’Tichka Pass, heading to the UNESCO World Heritage site of Aït Ben Haddou. This historic kasbah is renowned for its appearances in films like *Gladiator* and the HBO series *Game of Thrones*.
Next, we’ll continue to Ouarzazate to explore the Atlas Film Studios and visit a local kasbah. From there, we’ll journey toward the Valley of Roses, celebrated for its annual Festival of Roses. We will spend the night in Dades Gorge at a local hotel, where you will also have the option to enjoy a complimentary dinner.
Day 2: Dades Gorge – Todra Gorge – Rissani – Merzouga Desert
Continuing our tour, we’ll take a 4×4 vehicle to explore the stunning Todra Gorge, a vibrant narrow canyon that’s a favorite among outdoor enthusiasts. Afterward, we’ll make our way through the picturesque Ziz Valley, heading to Erfoud, an oasis town often referred to as the gateway to the Sahara Desert, known for its unique fossils.
In Erfoud, we can visit a local factory that crafts artisan goods and home decor from these fossils. There’s also a shop where you can purchase souvenirs to remember your journey.
Next, we’ll drive towards Rissani, where we’ll explore the bustling local souk. Afterward, we’ll continue our journey toward the desert to reach Merzouga, where we’ll spend the night at a local riad.
Day 3: Merzouga Desert
This day is dedicated to exploring the enchanting Merzouga Desert. You’ll have the freedom to choose your adventure, whether it’s camel trekking across the dunes or enjoying a guided tour in a comfortable 4×4.
We’ll also visit Khamlia, a village renowned for its vibrant traditional music. As the day winds down, we can’t miss the chance to watch the breathtaking sunset over the Sahara’s stunning dunes. Our evening will culminate with a delightful experience of local music and traditional Berber cuisine around a cozy campfire.
Day 4: Merzouga Desert – Rissani – Midelt – Fes
